Setting the Stage: Thirteen Days of Prayer and Fasting
On March 22, we entered a 21-day Daniel Fast. Thirteen days into this journey, we pressed deeper into prayer, seeking revelation and interceding with urgency. Our focus turned toward Israel and the Middle East as tensions escalated, with Iran’s war and daily missile attacks striking different regions.
As Passover approached on April 1, we prepared our hearts with intention. We watched, prayed, and asked for insight into what lies ahead. Expectation filled our prayers. We believed the Lord would open new doors during this Passover season and lead His bride into a new, appointed time.
A Divine Invitation: The Significance of April 18
On April 4, I woke with a strong impression from the Holy Spirit about April 18. The date carried weight. As I reflected, I sensed a clear invitation: God called the HOPE family to stand together in agreement for what He intends to bring forth at this strategic moment.
We stand at the edge of a new season, one marked by a double portion of the Holy Spirit’s anointing. This outpouring will strengthen the body here in HOPE Nazareth and extend across the global church.
Reflecting on a Prophetic Legacy
The importance of April 18 connects directly to a prophetic word spoken 36 years ago by Anna Cain, the mother of Paul Cain. Paul’s ministry shaped generations, especially during the healing revivals of the late 1940s and 1950s. His life, and even his birth, pointed to a greater unfolding plan.
Anna Cain’s story carries remarkable weight. After 60 years of miraculous healing and the birth of her son while battling four terminal diseases, she approached the end of her life at age 104. In her final days, she told Paul that the Lord had reserved one last prophetic word—one that would come through her death. She called it the most important prophecy she would ever deliver.
Soon after, she entered a coma. Weeks later, she awakened and declared, “The Lord is going to release over your life and the body of Christ, Luke 4:18!” She then slipped back into a coma and passed away the next day, April 18, at 4:18 p.m. This moment stands as a sign and a wonder.
Luke 4:18: The Heart of the Prophecy
The prophecy centers on Luke 4:18, a passage that reveals both Jesus’ mission and identity. In His hometown synagogue, Jesus proclaimed:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, recovery of sight to the blind, and to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”
This declaration launched His earthly ministry. That same Spirit now rests upon His followers. He calls us to carry this mission forward.
A new generation of prophetic voices rises, fully surrendered, aligned with His will, and empowered to reveal His glory through action.
The Prophetic Timing: 36 Years and the Number 18
The Holy Spirit continues to highlight April 18 with precision. The original prophecy came on April 18, 1990, exactly 36 years ago. The number 36 carries meaning because it represents two times 18.
In Hebraic understanding, 18 symbolizes “Chai,” or life.
This year marks a double measure and double life. It signals a release of increased anointing and a deeper awakening of the church’s identity as described in Luke 4:18. This calling stirs within His people, ready to manifest in fullness.
Biblical Promises of Double Blessing
We stand in a moment where prophetic promises converge with present reality.
Declares
“Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today I declare that I will restore double to you.” – Zechariah 9:12
Affirm
“Instead of your shame, you shall receive double honor; instead of confusion, you will rejoice in your portion. In your land, you will possess double, and everlasting joy will be yours.” – Isaiah 61:7
These promises point to a divine unfolding. God opens His prophetic scroll once again, releasing His Spirit in fresh measure over lives and nations.
Stepping Into the Divine Gateway
This moment calls for a response. God invites His people to step forward in faith and agreement, crossing into a season marked by greater expression of Jesus’ miraculous ministry.
From Nazareth, we contend for a double portion of His anointing to emerge and take form.
On Saturday, April 18, we will gather for 10 hours of prayer across nations. We will watch, intercede, and contend for the multiplication of the anointing oil, releasing healing, freedom, joy, and glory into the earth.
A Song for the Season: “The Oil Will Not Run Out”
April 18 will also mark the release of a new song, “The Oil Will Not Run Out,” across all music platforms. This song carries the sound of the season, a declaration of God’s unending supply of His Spirit.
Moving Forward With Expectation
We move forward with expectation and confidence. The oil of His Spirit will flow abundantly and without limit.
Let us stand together in unity and faith. This season bears the mark of fulfillment and the promise of a double blessing, with the expectation that the oil will flow.
