A Strategic Esther Call 44 Days of Prayer and Fasting for Iran, Israel, and the Nations

In November of last year, during a prayer watch at HOPE, the Lord began to speak to me as we interceded over Iran and the rising crisis involving Iran, Israel, and the nations.

A Vision: The Plumbline Over Iran

On November 8th, while praying for Iran, I saw a massive plumbline descending over the land. The moment it touched the ground, an earthquake struck. I pressed into prayer and declared that the Lord Himself would shake everything that stands against His purposes—especially the evil systems embedded in Iran’s government—so that the unshakable would remain and His kingdom would advance with power.

Only days later, the news reported a 6.4 magnitude earthquake in southern Iran’s Hormozgan province.

The moment I saw the number 6.4, the Holy Spirit highlighted Isaiah 64:1–4 to me:

Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down…
The nations quake before You…
No eye has seen any God besides You,
who acts on behalf of those who wait for Him.

God confirmed that He heard our decrees. He began to shake Iran’s internal structures and release His judgment against the wickedness entrenched in the Islamic Republic.

A Prophetic Insight: Iran on the Brink

Throughout December 2021, the Lord continued to speak as we watched Iran. One day I listened to a lecture by the well-known Jewish historian Dr. Mordechai Kedar titled “Will Iran’s Regime Collapse in 2022?” His words gripped me.

He described Iran’s complex anthropology—a nation of many distinct people groups, most of whom are not Persian and do not support the current regime. They have been waiting for a moment to rise again and overturn the Islamic government from within. He explained that their most strategic timing would be during the week leading up to the Iranian New Year, Noroz.

The Wednesday before Noroz is called Char Chambi Sori—“the Wednesday of Fire.” On this night, crowds flood the streets and light fires. The atmosphere erupts into chaos. These oppressed groups know that such a night offers the perfect environment for organized resistance.

This year, “the Wednesday of Fire” falls on March 16th.

Purim and the “Wednesday of Fire”

The moment I heard the date, the Holy Spirit nudged me to check the date of Purim in 2022. To my amazement, Purim also falls on March 16th.

I knew immediately that the Lord was aligning something powerful. He intends to confront the Haman spirit operating through Iran’s regime. He intends to spark a shaking—perhaps even a revolution—that will topple principalities and rulers over the land.

The Call: 44 Days of Prayer and Fasting

As I prayed further, I asked the Holy Spirit what He wanted His watchmen to do. I heard the number 44 in my spirit, connected to 22 × 2 in the year 2022. The Lord led me to call for 44 days of prayer and fasting, beginning 2/2/2022 and leading to Purim on March 16th, the very same day as the “Wednesday of Fire.”

When I searched deeper, I discovered another divine alignment: Iran’s Islamic Republic was established on February 11th, 1979. On February 11th, 2022, the regime entered its 44th year.

The Lord spoke clearly: Ask Me to rend the heavens over Iran. Ask Me to shake the regime. Ask Me to awaken courage and faith within the Iranian people so they can stand against the evil structure that threatens the Middle East and seeks Israel’s destruction.

The Roar of the Lion of Judah

After receiving this revelation, I asked the Lord how we should respond. He showed me a vision of intercessors uniting across the globe, releasing decrees over Iran and proclaiming deliverance for her people.

I heard the roar of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah rising from Zion. He is moving with vengeance against the Haman spirit in the land. Enough is enough. Aslan is on the move.

The Decree to Release on Purim — March 16, 2022

Joel 3:16

The Lord will roar from Zion
and thunder from Jerusalem;
the earth and the heavens will tremble.
But the Lord will be a refuge for His people,
a stronghold for the people of Israel.

An Esther Moment for the Nations

I believe we stand at another Esther moment in history. God calls Esthers from every nation to rise, release verdicts, and decree deliverance over Iran. Just as Esther prepared a banquet for the king in the presence of her enemy, so we gather at the Lord’s table—bread and wine in hand—to stand before the King and release His justice.
