Introduction

How does spiritual vision occur? Visions have levels, and spiritual vision occurs according to the degree to which our spiritual eyes are opened.

1. Spiritual Impression

This is one of the very first and most basic levels. At this level, there is no actual vision or image — rather, a deep impression in the heart, similar to what is known as a word of knowledge. The mind does not see anything, yet there is a strong sense of the anointing of the Holy Spirit that influences the inner person.

2. Mental Images

This functions like a camera that captures still images (Instant Pictures). Just as a camera needs light to capture an image, our spiritual eyes also need light from the Lord. “If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.” (Numbers 12:6) Light enters from the Lord into the lenses of our spiritual eyes, forming an image that is stored in our spiritual memory — and if it is from the Lord, it will not be forgotten. Another way visions occur: Since we are temples of the Holy Spirit, our spiritual eyes are like the windows of the temple through which Jesus looks and shares with us what He sees. “I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.” (John 8:38)

3. The Panoramic Vision

“I have also spoken by the prophets, and have multiplied visions; I have given symbols through the witness of the prophets.” (Hosea 12:10) A panoramic vision is not a single still image but a moving scene, like a video, containing both visuals and sound. Example: The vision of Ananias and Saul (Acts 9:10–16). Both saw the same vision, even though Saul was physically blind — he saw it with clarity in the spirit. The Greek word for vision is HORAMA, from which the English word PANORAMA is derived — a term also used in cinema.

4.  Vision in a Dream

“Daniel had a dream and visions of his head while on his bed.” (Daniel 7:1) “In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men…” (Job 33:14–15) A dream is a revelatory vision from the Holy Spirit during sleep, whether light or deep. God uses dreams to express His love and His desire to communicate with us when our souls are at rest.

5. Audible Messages

“And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’” (Matthew 3:17) Sometimes a vision is accompanied by an audible message, and other times the voice is heard without an image. However, we must test the source of the voice: 1. If it brings confusion, 2. Or fear 3. Or doubt instead of faith. Then we must plead the blood of the Lord Jesus and test the spirits. (See Acts 9:3–7 — Saul’s encounter on the road to Damascus.)

6. Supernatural Appearance

“Then an angel of the Lord appeared to him, standing on the right side of the altar of incense.” (Luke 1:11) At this level, we perceive spiritual beings — both with our spiritual and, at times, natural eyes. Examples: • Jacob wrestling with the angel of the Lord (Genesis 32:24–31) • The Virgin Mary seeing the angel Gabriel (Luke 1:26–33)

7. The Open Heaven

“The heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.” (Ezekiel 1:1) When heaven opens, visions and revelations of the Almighty become clear and vivid — as John experienced in (Revelation 4:1–2).

8. Spiritual Trance

“While I was praying in the temple, I fell into a trance and saw Him saying to me, ‘Make haste and get out of Jerusalem quickly…’” (Acts 22:17-18). A trance is a spiritual state in which the mind is caught up and receives a clear revelation from God, often during prayer or deep stillness.

9. Out-of-Body Experiences

“Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me a great thunderous voice…” (Ezekiel 3:12–13). “Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me to the East Gate of the Lord’s house…” (Ezekiel 11:1–2) Example: The experience of the Apostle Paul: “Such a one was caught up to the third heaven… and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.” (2 Corinthians 12:2–4)

10. Physical Transportation

“Now when Philip was caught up by the Spirit of the Lord, the eunuch saw him no more.”
(Acts 8:39)

Other examples:

• Jesus passed through the crowd and disappeared from them (Luke 4:29–30)

• Jesus’ experience on the pinnacle of the temple (Matthew 4:3–5)

.كيف تحدث الرؤية الروحية؟ إ ّن للرؤى مستويات، والرؤية الروحية تحدث بحسب مقدار انفتاح أعيننا الروحية

١ .االنطباع الروحي

ُيعتبر هذا من المستويات األولية جًدا. في هذا المستوى ال توجد رؤية أو صورة، بل انطباع عميق في القلب، أشبه بما ُيعرف بكالم العلم. الذهن ال يرى ا، شيًئ ولكن الشعور القوي بمسحة الروح القدس يؤثر في اإلنسان الداخلي.

٢ . الصور الذهنية

شبه عمل الكاميرا التي تلتقط صو ًرا غير متحركة (Pictures Instant). فكما تحتاج الكاميرا إلى النور اللتقاط الصورة، هكذا أي ًضا تحتاج أعيننا الروحية إلى نور من الرب. ال ُحلم ُمُه.« ِ »إ ْن كا َن ِمن ُكْم َنب ٌّي لل َّر ِّب، فبال ّرؤيا أسَتعلِ ُن ل ُه. في كلِّ ُأ )العدد 12:6( النور يدخل من الرب إلى عدسات أعيننا الروحية، خزن فت الصورة في ذاكرتنا الروحية، وال نسى ُ ت إن كانت من الرب. ُ طريقة أخرى لحدوث الرؤى: بما أننا هياكل لروح هللا القدوس، فإن األعين الروحية هي شبابيك الهيكل التي ينظر منها يسوع لُيرينا ما يراه. »أنا أتكلم بما رأيت عند أبي، وأنتم تعملون ما رأيتم عند أبيكم.« )يوحنا .8:38

٣ . الرؤية البانورامية

«وكثَّرتُ الرُّؤَى، وبِيَدِ الأنبياءِ مَثَّلتُ أمثالاً.»
(هوشع 12:10)

الرؤية البانورامية ليست صورة ثابتة، بل مشهد متحرك كالفيديو، يحوي صورة وصوتًا معًا.
مثال:
رؤية حنانيا وشاول (أعمال 9:10–16).
رأى الاثنان الرؤية نفسها رغم أن شاول كان أعمى جسديًا، لكنه رأى بوضوح في الروح.
الكلمة اليونانية للرؤية هي HORAMA ومنها أُشتقت كلمة PANORAMA المستعملة في السينما.

٤. الرؤية في الحلم

«رأى دانيآل حُلمًا ورُؤى رأسه على فراشه.»
(دانيال 7:1)
«في حلمٍ، في رؤيا الليل، عندما يقع سبات على الناس…»
(أيوب 33:14–15)

الحلم هو رؤية من الروح القدس أثناء النوم، سواء كان خفيفًا أو عميقًا.

٥. الرسائل الصوتية

«وصوتٌ من السماواتِ قائلاً: هذا هو ابني الحبيب الذي به سُررتُ.»
(متى 3:17)

أحيانًا تُرافق الرؤية رسالة مسموعة، وأحيانًا يُسمع الصوت فقط دون صورة.
لكن يجب أن نختبر مصدر الصوت:

إن جلب تشويشًا –

 أو خوفًا –

 أو شكًا بدل الإيمان –
فيجب أن نعلن دم الرب يسوع ونمتحن الأرواح.

٦. الظهور الخارق للطبيعة

«فظَهرَ له ملاك الرب واقفًا عن يمين مذبح البخور.»
(لوقا 1:11)

في هذا المستوى نرى الكائنات الروحية بالعين الروحية، وأحيانًا بالعين الطبيعية أيضًا.
أمثلة:

يعقوب صارع مع ملاك الرب (تكوين 32:24–31)

العذراء مريم رأت الملاك جبرائيل (لوقا 1:26–33)

٧. السماء المفتوحة

«انفتحت السماوات، فرأيت رؤى الله.»
(حزقيال 1:1)

عندما تُفتح السماء تبدأ رؤى الله القدير بالظهور بوضوح كما في (رؤيا يوحنا 1:4–2).

٨. الغيبة الروحية

«فبينما كنت أصلي في الهيكل حصلت في غيبة ورأيته يقول لي: أسرع واخرج من أورشليم…»
(أعمال 22:17–18)

الغيبة هي حالة روحية يُختطف فيها الذهن ويتلقى إعلانًا واضحًا من الله، غالبًا أثناء الصلاة أو السكون العميق.

٩. الاختبارات خارج الجسد

«فحملني الروح فسمعت خلفي صوت رعد عظيم…»
(حزقيال 3:12–13)
«ثم رفعني روح وأتى بي إلى باب بيت الرب…»
(حزقيال 11:1–2)

مثال:
اختبار الرسول بولس:

«اختُطف هذا إلى السماء الثالثة… وسمع كلمات لا يُنطق بها.»
(٢ كورنثوس 12:2–4)

١٠. الانتقال بالجسد

«وأما فيلبُّس، فخطفه روح الرب فلم يبصره الخصي بعد.»
(أعمال 8:39)
