A New Season for HOPE Youth: Secrets of the Vine (John 15:1–4)
August marked a new focus for HOPE’s youth meetings. We turned our hearts to The Secrets of the Vine from John 15:1–4, anchoring our gatherings in Jesus’ call to remain in Him and bear lasting fruit.
During this time, Rania prayed and reflected on fresh revelation concerning the present season of sifting and threshing (see her vision The Bride in the Field of Wheat). As she prepared a new teaching series on the testing of our faith, the Lord confirmed this direction through a striking dream given to one of HOPE’s intercessors.
A Dream of the Vinedresser
She found herself standing on a farm. A farmer pushed a cart filled with branches—large, green, and freshly cut vine branches. She recognized him as the vinedresser. He gathered long branches into bundles and placed them quickly into the cart.
She asked him,
“Why are you cutting off these branches? They look so beautiful. Why are you in such a hurry to prune this vine?”
He replied,
“I have given it some time.”
She understood that these branches had received time to bear fruit, yet they produced none. The vinedresser loaded the branches into the cart and carried them away from the vine.
She pleaded with him,
“Please, give it more time. Give it another chance!”
At that moment, another man appeared. He stood gently before the vinedresser, his eyes full of love. She sensed that this man was the Lord Jesus. He spoke to the vinedresser and said,
“Give them another chance.”
The Call to Remain and Bear Fruit
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit,
while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
