Unity in Bethlehem: Arab and Jewish Women Gather for Shavuot

“So may all your enemies perish, O LORD! But your friends be like the sun as he rises in his might.”
Song of Deborah, Judges 5:31

A Prophetic Gathering During Shavuot

During the season of Shavuot, the time of the barley harvest—when the story of Ruth unfolds—a small group of Arab and Jewish women gathered in Bethlehem to pray. This wasn’t just a meeting; it was a prophetic act of unity, born out of love for God and each other.

Nine Women, One Heartbeat

Nine women came together to share lunch, prayer, and the breaking of bread. They stood in agreement, declaring:
“Let the voice of the better blood of Jesus speak louder!”

They lifted up prayers for peace, for love to flow between both peoples, and for God’s heart to be revealed over the region.

Love That Breaks Barriers

This netting of hearts—woven in the unity of love—has power to unlock everything that’s on God’s heart for the Middle East. When Arab and Jewish daughters come together in humility and faith, heaven responds.

A Time of Rest and Revival

Just as the land had rest for forty years in the days of Deborah, we believe this act of unity releases the prophetic potential of rest, justice, and revival in our time.
