Rania Sayegh Ministers at Strategic Norway Prayer Conference
In mid-February, Rania Sayegh and her friend Margaret traveled to Norway to take part in a powerful national prayer conference hosted by YWAM leaders at the Grimerud base. Rania was honored to be one of the main speakers at the event, returning to minister in Norway for the first time since 2019.
Strategic Leadership Gatherings Set the Stage
Before the conference officially began, Rania and Margaret joined two days of strategic leadership meetings. These intimate gatherings brought together key voices from across the nation, each sharing what they sensed the Lord was saying to Norway in this season. It was a sacred space of listening, impartation, and unity—preparing the spiritual ground for what God was about to release.
Speaking Into Crisis: A Kingdom Perspective on Israel
On the second day of the conference, one of the leaders interviewed Rania. The conversation turned to the ongoing war in Israel, and she was asked to offer a Kingdom perspective on the crisis. Rania shared an update and closed the interview by giving the participants eight specific prayer points. These points became a rallying cry for united intercession for Israel throughout the conference.
A Prophetic Gift: The Ancient Key from Jerusalem
Before the trip, Rania received a prophetic word from the Lord: she was to bring a special gift to the Norwegian family—something symbolic of what God desires to release over the nation. The gift was an ancient key from Jerusalem. This key wasn’t easy to find. With most shops in the Old City closed due to the war, and no time for a trip to Jerusalem, it seemed impossible. Yet God made a way.
A friend of Rania’s reached out to a woman in Nazareth who had once owned an antique store. Miraculously, she still had one ancient key left. Just in time, the Lord provided it. That key carried prophetic weight, representing access, authority, and alignment with God’s heart for nations.
A Holy Moment: Prophetic Declaration Over Norway
On Saturday night, Rania shared the message the Lord had placed on her heart—speaking into the times, the role of Norway, and the call to align with God’s redemptive purposes. As she closed her message, twelve leaders stood on stage representing the nation in repentance for antisemitism and spiritual compromise.
Then came a powerful prophetic act. Rania lifted the key and declared the gates of Norway open to face Jerusalem from the east. In that moment, a musician on the worship team blew an ancient Norwegian shofar to welcome the King of Glory through the gate. God’s presence filled the room. Rania then presented the key as a gift to several of the main leaders—marking the moment with reverence and awe.
A Healing Miracle Testifies to God’s Presence
The following day, a powerful testimony confirmed God’s movement during the conference. At the beginning of her message, Rania had released a word of knowledge about someone with an irregular heartbeat. A man in the crowd responded and, as Rania prayed, he was instantly healed! His heart rate returned to normal—right there, in the presence of the Lord. Jesus, our Great Physician, revealed Himself once again as Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals.
A Decade of Partnership: Fruitful Ministry in Norway
For Rania, this trip marked ten years of partnership with the Body of Messiah in Norway. Since her first visit in 2014, she has seen God move powerfully among the Norwegian believers. This conference was a beautiful reflection of that ongoing journey—filled with fulfillment of past prophetic words and fresh vision for the future.
Seeing the Church in Norway rise up like modern-day Esthers—bold, prayerful, and aligned for such a time as this—was deeply encouraging. The Scandinavian nations are being positioned for God’s purposes, and Norway is standing strong in her calling.
