Watch and Be Ready
“Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning.”
Mark 13:35A Burden to Pray for the Middle East
On the morning of 10 September, as I took time with the Lord, a burden came upon me to pray for the Middle East. I began to intercede for the situations in Afghanistan and Israel, particularly in light of the terrorists who had escaped from prison.
The Eagle Over Israel
As I prayed, I saw in the Spirit an eagle hovering over Israel, flying from north to south and from east to west. He moved in circles, watching the land intently with fiery eyes, preparing to land and strike his prey. As I watched, I prayed that the eyes of the eagle would open fully to protect and cover the land.
I knew this eagle represented the Lord Himself, watching over Israel and preparing a turnaround of victory against a hidden and planned assignment of the enemy. He was watching to release His angels for attack.
The Rooster in China
Then the vision shifted, and I was taken to China. I saw that the map of China resembles a rooster, and suddenly the entire land came alive as if it had become a real rooster. The rooster lifted its head and began to crow, releasing a call into the atmosphere.
Then I heard the words, “When the rooster crows his call, the eagle will soar.”
From Rooster to Eagle
As the rooster continued to crow, the sound resonated first from the East. Then the rooster turned its head to the North and then to the South, continuing to release its call. When it turned toward the West, the head and then the entire body began to transform into an eagle.
I watched as the feathers changed, the beak and face formed, and the eyes became piercing. The eagle then rose up from the land and took flight.
An Army Moving Toward the Western Gate
As this great eagle ascended, smaller eagles from the North, East, and South joined him. Together, they formed an army, moving toward the western side of the land, prepared for battle.
When they reached the western gate of the nation, I saw a massive ancient golden gate, slightly cracked open. As the eagle army approached, they began to screech, and the vibration of their sound pushed the gate wider and wider. At the exact moment the eagles reached the gate, it opened fully, and they broke through, heading toward the Silk Road.
The River Released
The moment the eagles passed through the gate, I saw a river of water begin to flow from this ancient gate toward the Silk Road. The river washed the highway and removed the stones that had blocked the way.
A Midnight Hour Call
I sense that this is a midnight hour call to release the crow of the rooster in the fourth watch, ushering in the dawn of a new day. I believe the Lord is giving us a strategy to unite China, the United States, and Israel on Yom Kippur, releasing a midnight cry before the mercy seat for a turnaround.
As the army rises for battle over the Middle East, China, and the United States, we will release a sound of freedom and healing over the lands. We will appeal to heaven for the sake of God’s covenant, that it may be established in these nations, as the eagles gather and release a cry of victory for such a time as this.
Scriptures for the Midnight Watch
“But at midnight there was a cry, ‘Here is the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’”
Matthew 25:6“So Moses said, ‘Thus says the Lord: About midnight I will go out in the midst of Egypt.’”
Exodus 11:4“The Lord said to my Lord,
‘Sit at My right hand,
Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.’
The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion.
Rule in the midst of Your enemies.
Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power,
In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning,
You have the dew of Your youth.”
Psalm 110:1–3
