Prayer Request: Interceding for Nazareth

Nazareth has recently experienced a time of strife caused by conflict between two feuding families. Tragically, a young man lost his life, and homes were set ablaze in acts of revenge. These events occurred very close to the location of the first HOPE Prayer House.

We ask you to join us in prayer:

• Pray for God’s comfort and peace for those mourning the loss of loved ones.

• Pray that the cycle of revenge and retaliation will end, and that hearts will turn toward reconciliation and forgiveness.

• Pray for healing in the community and that righteousness and justice will prevail in the city.

Isaiah 32:17 reminds us:
“And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.”

Rania, together with a few team members, plans to visit several neighborhoods in the city to take communion and intercede for forgiveness for the bloodshed. Please cover these efforts in your prayers, asking God to bring His peace, restoration, and unity to Nazareth.
