A Fountain for Armenia: Heaven’s Cry and the Healing to Come

By Rania Sayegh | November 21st, 2023

A Cry from the Heavens

During a deep time of travail, I heard a mass of crying—not only in the room but echoing from beyond. As I leaned in, I discerned these cries were not just human. They came from the cloud of witnesses in Heaven. The voices of those whose blood had been shed in the land of Armenia joined in a collective wail.

Suddenly, I was overwhelmed by their grief. It pierced my spirit. I began to feel the pain of the Armenian family—not just from history, but in the now. In that moment, I heard this verse rise in my heart:

“And they cried with a loud voice, saying, ‘How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’”
Revelation 6:10 (NKJV)

The Weeping That Births Healing

As the weeping intensified, I saw a vision. A fountain of water burst from the ground. It spread rapidly, washing over the land. This wasn’t destruction. It was healing. It was life. The water cleansed, restored, and renewed the land it touched.

This vision brought to mind the words of the prophet Jeremiah:

“Oh, that my head were waters,
And my eyes a fountain of tears,
That I might weep day and night
For the slain of the daughter of my people!”
Jeremiah 9:1 (NKJV)

This was more than lament. It was intercession. The tears of the saints—both past and present—were opening the ground for healing to break forth.

A New Beginning for a Wounded Land

Then I heard Him speak. The One seated on the throne made His voice clear above the sound of sorrow:

“Behold, I make all things new.”
And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.
I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.”
Revelation 21:5–6 (NKJV)

This is the promise. The fountain of life is flowing. Heaven is responding. The blood that cries out from Armenia is not forgotten. God is releasing healing—not only for the past but for the future.

The Cry, the Fountain, and the Hope

The travail birthed a vision. The weeping uncovered a fountain. And the sorrow awakened a promise. As we stand in intercession, let us remember that Heaven sees. Heaven hears. And Heaven responds.

The waters are coming. Healing is on the way.
