A Prophetic Encounter Over Armenia

By Rania Sayegh

While the drumming continued, a sound of war began to rise in the spirit. In that moment, I sensed a spiritual window open—and suddenly, I saw Him. A huge Lion—the Lion of the Tribe of Judah—appeared, eyes fierce and fixed on the horizon. Then, He began to roar.

A Heavenly Invasion: War Horses and Fire from Heaven

Immediately, legions of war horses were released from Heaven. They descended from Mount Ararat and galloped into the land of Armenia. Each horseman carried a torch of fire, and as they circled the land, they set the borders ablaze—drawing, it seemed, new boundaries in fire.

They didn’t stop at the borders. The riders moved into the heart of the nation, where they formed a fiery cross, igniting the center of Armenia. Then, as if completing a divine mission, they returned to the top of Mount Ararat and placed a massive torch at its peak—just like the ceremonial torch lighting of the Olympic Games.

Mount Ararat: From Mountain to Altar

As the torch blazed, a huge rainbow appeared overhead. Suddenly, the top of the mountain ignited and transformed into a fiery altar. Then came an eruption—not of ordinary lava, but of something that looked like burning oil. It flowed from the mountain’s summit across the entire nation and beyond, reaching the surrounding nations.

As the oil flowed, I saw many nations drawn to the mountain, now turned into a heavenly altar. They came in awe, bowing in worship before the One who sits on the throne.

Key Scriptures: The Lion, the Lamb, and the Nations

The Holy Spirit brought two powerful passages to my spirit:

“Rejoice, O Gentiles, with His people; For He will avenge the blood of His servants, And render vengeance to His adversaries; He will provide atonement for His land and His people.”
— Deuteronomy 32:43

“Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah… has prevailed…”
Read the full passage in Revelation 5:5–13 (NKJV) where the Lamb takes the scroll and all of Heaven responds in worship:

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”

A Prophetic Confirmation in Yerevan

Soon after receiving the vision, I joined a group from the conference on a tour in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. We visited two important memorials:

  1. The Armenian Mother

  2. The Genocide Site—a solemn place dedicated to the memory of the one million Armenians who were murdered in the genocide.

To my amazement, both memorials featured torches burning 24/7. Even more striking, at the Genocide Memorial, sad music played continuously in remembrance. What I had seen in the spirit—two burning torches—was physically present in these places.

For His Glory

What I witnessed in the spirit was more than a vision—it was a call. A call to recognize that God is moving, drawing lines in fire, redeeming lands, and inviting nations to bow before His throne.

May His fire continue to burn. May His glory cover the earth.
