A Prophetic Vision Rooted in Nazareth: Life, Healing, and the Nations

A Watch in Nazareth: A Tree Comes Alive

During a powerful time of intercession with our women’s watch group, the Lord opened my eyes to a striking vision. I saw the tree painted in the mural in Nazareth—a familiar symbol—yet this time, something extraordinary was happening.

A branch began to shoot forth from the root of the tree. It wasn’t static; it was blooming, bursting with life. As I watched, the roots pushed deeper and deeper into the soil of Nazareth. They spread left and right, moving with power beneath the surface.

Hidden Roots with Global Impact

Though hidden underground, the roots grew larger and stronger, quietly expanding until they broke through the earth. What was once unseen could now be seen by all.

Beneath these roots, I saw a reservoir of water. As the roots tapped deeper into the earth, fountains of water exploded upward, flowing out and washing the land. The water didn’t stop in Nazareth—it moved out into Israel and the nations.

This wasn’t just a personal vision. It was a picture of what God is doing in the land—a prophetic call to awakening, healing, and global revival.

Anchored in the Word

This vision echoes the promise in Isaiah 11:1–2:

There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

And also the hope found in Revelation 22:2:

In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life,
which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month.
The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

Nazareth: A Starting Point for Revival

I believe this vision points to something deeper: Nazareth is not just a historical location—it is a spiritual wellspring. The roots of revival are digging into the city’s soil. The water represents the Holy Spirit moving, breaking through barriers, and bringing healing to the land and beyond.

Let us stay alert. Let us keep watch. And let us continue to intercede for the Spirit of the Lord to move from Nazareth to Israel, and from Israel to the ends of the earth.
