Vision of the Eastern Gate: A Prophetic Prayer for Jerusalem’s Restoration

During our weekly intercessors meeting, we prayed fervently for the land, especially for the ongoing government and judicial reforms. During prayer, I was taken into a vision.

I saw the Lion of the Tribe of Judah standing on the Eastern Golden Gate of Jerusalem. He began to roar over the city, and as He did, I witnessed the gate opening in the spirit. A river of thick, golden oil poured from the gate, immediately igniting into flames.

This oil, mingled with fire, surged into the streets and valleys of Jerusalem. As it flowed, it washed and burned away every obstacle standing in its path. It consumed the thorns and cleared the stones blocking the city’s pathways, symbolizing purification and restoration.

Scriptural Foundations of Purification

Isaiah 4:3-4 (NKJV) says,
“And it shall come to pass that he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy—everyone who is recorded among the living in Jerusalem. When the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and purged the blood of Jerusalem from her midst, by the spirit of judgment and by the spirit of burning.”

Isaiah 62:10-12 (NKJV) declares,
“Go through, Go through the gates! Prepare the way for the people; Build up, Build up the highway! Take out the stones, Lift up a banner for the peoples! Indeed the Lord has proclaimed to the end of the world: ‘Say to the daughter of Zion, Surely your salvation is coming; Behold, His reward is with Him, And His work before Him.’ And they shall call them The Holy People, The Redeemed of the Lord; And you shall be called Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.”
