Deborah’s Clan: Arab & Jewish Women Unite in Worship & Intercession

On May 20th, 32 Jewish Messianic and Arab Christian women leaders gathered at HOPE Nazareth for a powerful time of worship, prayer, and fellowship. This wasn’t just a meeting—it was a moment of divine alignment.

Worship Ignites the Flame

Karen Davis opened the gathering in worship, declaring, “Fire will blaze through us and consume every stronghold.” A sense of prophetic authority filled the room. God is raising an army of women in the land—strong, surrendered, and set apart for such a time as this.

Unity: A Secret Weapon

Rania Sayegh welcomed the women and posed a question that still echoes: How can we partner with the Holy Spirit to heal the land?

She reminded us of a word the Lord gave her years ago:
“When the women rise up in the land, there will be security in the land.”
Just like in the days of Deborah, when she arose, peace followed (Judges 5:7).

We believe that God is using the unity between Arab and Jewish women as a secret weapon of peace and transformation.

Carriers of Keys: Isaiah 22:22

This is a year of divine keys—Isaiah 22:22 speaks of authority to open and shut. Every woman in that room carries a key in her heart. The size of the key matches the size of the heart. God wants to release blessings through us. We are keepers of the doors. It’s our responsibility to ask: What is God doing in my circumstances?

Our final battle will confront the spirit of accusation.

A Prophetic Dream: BA or BB?

During the Jerusalem Global Communion, Lou Engle approached Rania with a prophetic dream:

“In the dream, people gathered in the Spirit, but the dominant atmosphere was accusation and division. Everyone held certificates: some read ‘BA’ and others ‘BB’.

BA = Brother Accuser
BB = Better Blood

The heavens opened over those with BA, and darkness descended. But those with BB received fire and light from heaven. They chose not to fellowship with the accusers.”

This dream is a call to choose the better blood—the redeeming, unifying power of Jesus.

Love One Another Deeply

Chaya Mizrahi shared a moment from 25 years ago when Jack Hayford visited Israel. After two teaching sessions, he left the platform—only to return with a piercing word:
“You don’t love one another.”

It struck deeply. And it still does. Scripture urges us:

“The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers. Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.”
—1 Peter 4:7–8

Let love be the standard. Love will carry us through suffering, just as it did for Brother Yun, Richard and Sabrina Wurmbrand, and Corrie ten Boom, who reminded us, “There is no panic in heaven.”

Turning Wounds into Intercession

Orna Grinman drew from the story of Ruth. When Ruth pleaded with Naomi, “Don’t entreat me to leave you,” the Hebrew word for “entreat” means to wound. Ruth was saying, “You would wound me by sending me away.”

That same Hebrew root appears in the word intercession.

Orna shared how every wound offers two choices:
Blame—or intercede.

In the Kingdom, wounds become invitations. We ask: Can I see God above this wound? Beneath it? In the middle of it?

In This Hour, Love Must Rise

This gathering marked more than a meeting—it was a prophetic act of love and unity in a divided land. God is calling His daughters to rise with fire, keys of authority, and unwavering love.

Let us stand together, Arab and Jewish sisters, declaring:
“We choose the Better Blood.”

Deborah’s Clan Prayer Gathering for Peace 19th, May 2021

22 sisters and a few brothers gathered to pray for the current situation in the land.

Rania opened in prayer with thanksgiving to God for this heart of unity. She asked that the prayers would be like fiery arrows of love that will quench war and hatred. Missiles of God’s love and glory are being released all over the land and into Gaza and the West Bank. We want to experience a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit over our land. The meeting was one of renewed love and covenant commitment to one another as the Jewish and Arab mothers gathered like Ruth and Naomi.

One of the many special moments was when a Jewish mother sang Boaz’s words to Ruth over the Arab women, “May the LORD repay you for what you have done. May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.” Ruth 2:12

An Arab mother responded with Ruth’s words to Naomi, “Where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.” Ruth 1:16

The Blood of Yeshua Speaks a Better Word – Passover 2020

During Passover week, 36 Jewish and Arab women who are mothers in the land of Israel gathered online to confess our nation’s sin and cry out to God for mercy. Like Deborah, Israel’s leader in the book of Judges, these women were leaders of ministries and pastor’s wives. Women who have spiritual authority. The meeting was organized jointly by HOPE Nazareth and Dugit Ministries lead by Avi & Chaya Mezrachi, its timing prompted by the current worldwide situation with COVID-19.

Deborah’s Clan Women’s Breakfast – 29th November 2020

With great joy and gratitude in my heart, I returned home with rich memories of God’s goodness and faithfulness and witnessing Him move as His Word was being declared!

During this time, I felt that we should call for a gathering of the Deborah’s Clan women following what the Lord birthed in April among us. We also felt it good to unite together with our Messianic Jewish sisters for what the Lord is about to do and birth through an upcoming large gathering called “Welcoming the King of Glory.” This will be December 15th – 19th and will take place in Golden Crown Hotel in Nazareth.

The women had an amazing time connecting together around a breakfast fellowship at the Legacy Hotel in Nazareth. Chaya Mezrachi and I invited the women to come for prayer, worship and to share our hearts with one another.

25 women who are leaders were able to make it from both Arab and Jewish congregations. Several of them were new to the circle of the Deborah’s Clan, and we were greatly blessed to see how hearts were instantly knit together in unity as we entered into the time of worship and prayer! There were powerful declarations released over the land. We prayed for a release of healing over the women in the land, and we prayed for  the “Welcoming the King of Glory” gathering. We proclaimed as mothers in the land, that all that God has on His heart to birth will come to a full healthy birthing. I (Rania) also saw the Lord move with creative miracles in 3 of the women. Legs were growing out and there was adjusting of their backs. Glory to our miracle working God.

Deborah’s Clan Women’s Gathering Praise Report | April 11-12

From April 11-12th, Jewish and Arab mothers gathered in the Nazareth Golden Crown Hotel for the Deborah’s Clan women gathering, a conference that was sponsored and hosted by Rania (House of Prayer & Exploits) & Chaya Mezrachi (Co-founder of Dugit Jewish Messianic Ministry). A wonderful team of 3 spiritual mothers, both Arab & Jewish, came alongside Rania & Chaya to support and help plan for the conference. It was a great breakthrough as we experienced a deep heart connection and unity between the Jewish and Arab mothers that attended. We had 21 Jewish mothers attending and 24 Arab mothers as well as a few younger women. In total, we were about 52 women. The Arab & Jewish spiritual mothers that attended are in various leadership roles and have great influence in the land of Israel. We felt that the Lord called us to get together for such a time as this, to birth all that is on the Father’s heart for both peoples. We have seen the Lord birth “a voice” in the women, both Arab and Jewish, through the empowering of the Holy Spirit. He has also caused a corporate authority to form with deep heart connection and oneness.

One of the beautiful things at the gathering was that both Jewish and Arab identities had plenty of room for expression. No side felt like they had to give themselves away in order to connect, but the love of God was flowing deeply in our hearts and was expressed openly in freedom. The deep heart connection created an atmosphere of a spiritual safe womb where the Holy Spirit was welcomed to overshadow the women and deposit a seed in their hearts. He also birthed all He desired through our voices released as Deborahs.

There were a few highlights of this gathering and many unforgettable moments. One highlight was the moment when both Arab and Jewish mothers faced each other after Orna & Rania shared their hearts openly with the women about the deep work that God has done to transform each of their heart’s attitudes towards the other. Jew to Arab, and Arab to Jew. In that session, Orna shared about her journey to walking out the book of Ruth & Naomi and how the Lord transformed her heart. During this journey with a few women that were both Arab and Gentile, she began to view the “identity of Israel” from being a widow to becoming a mother. Orna also addressed her experience of heart change toward the Arab people and how she fell in love with the Arab culture.

Rania shared how her heart changed towards the Jewish people and how the Lord took her on a journey of transformation and healing. The safety that was created in the atmosphere when both of them shared their hearts prepared the stage to make a historic act of covenant making as in the book of Ruth. Rania had the Arab women stand on one side, while the Jewish women were facing the Arab women on the opposite side. They were facing one on one each other. Then the Arab women were handed necklaces which had written on them the words of Ruth 1:16, “Don’t urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.” On the other side, the Jewish sisters had prepared scarves as a gift to the Arab mothers. The Jewish mothers began declaring the words that Boaz said to Ruth, “May the Lord reward your labor…” (Ruth 2:12) Chaya Mizrachi took the microphone and spoke over the Arab sisters the desire of her heart that the Arab people would become part of their family, just as Naomi always called Ruth, “my daughter.” These words are precious to any Jewish mother.

On the other side, the Arab mothers declared over the Jewish mothers, while they began to cover them with the scarves as if under the shadow of the God of Israel. The Arab women put the necklaces on the neck on each Jewish sister declaring to her as Ruth said to Naomi, “your people are my people, your God my God. Where you go I will go. Where you live, I will live. Where you die, I will die.” This moment will be remembered in the book of history over both of our peoples. Where hearts were melting and tears were flowing, we saw that God was forming His one family through the Deborahs of the land choosing to walk together in loyalty and love as Ruth and Naomi did.

Another highlight was the moment of honoring the senior Arab & Jewish mothers of the land. There was a heart connection, deep appreciation and thanksgiving expressed to each senior mother who has gone before as forerunners and prepared the way for this generation. The moment of honoring them and acknowledging their labor of love was like a kiss from heaven that filled our hearts with love for each other. In this honoring ceremony, we presented to each mother, from both Arab and Jewish, a beautiful necklace that had a picture of the tree of life in it.

Our hearts are full of gratitude to the Lord and to all of those who stood with us in prayer for this breakthrough.  We also want to thank all of those who have financially sown seed into this strategic and historic gathering of Deborahs.

Testimony from Sandra Teplinsky – A Jewish Spiritual Mother

1. The single greatest highlight to me was the love act of declaring Ruth scriptures with the necklaces and scarf coverings. Its power seemed to come from Holy Spirit generated genuine love without anyone artificially trying to be “prophetic.” It was beautiful and very deep, heart to heart.

2. There was a sense of empowerment of women’s voices and influence resulting from being together in unity. The unity flowed from genuine humility. This too was beautiful.

3.  As a result, I perceived a release of the expression of the feminine side of God, which has been sadly lacking in some ways in this country.

4. The unique atmosphere of love was palpable. This was due partly to the strong international intercession, the careful selection of participants, the love that flowed among the leadership team members for each other, and of course, to God’s grace.

5. It was a wonderful new beginning and the best “unity” meeting of Jews and Arabs I’ve ever been to.

Testimony from Norma Sarvis  – A Jewish Spiritual Mother

On Thursday and Friday of last week, I had the honor of attending a “Deborah’s  Clan” gathering in a lovely hotel on the top of Mt. Precipice in Nazareth.  The purpose was to call together Arab and Jewish “mothers in Israel.”  Those of us invited to attend were about 25 Arab and 20 Jewish women, all in positions of leadership, multiple generations coming together from the north to the south of Israel.

I have attended a number of Jewish/Arab women’s gatherings, but this was by far the most natural, unforced, prophetic.  At one point, the Jewish women honored our Arab sisters by speaking over them the words which were spoken in ancient times over the Gentile Ruth:  “The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.” (Ruth 2:12).  The Arab mothers then spoke over the Jewish mothers:  “Wherever you go, I will go; and wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, and your God, my God.” (Ruth 1:16)

There were inspired speakers, with messages in English and Hebrew and Arabic; there was wonderful worship in English, Hebrew, and Arabic; there was deep prayer in Hebrew, English, and Arabic. And there was so much love and unity. At times I wept as I realized what God was doing in our midst.

The result was a clear realization that no matter our age, we are the current mothers in Israel, we have a voice and God is at this time calling forth that voice to be heard. There were prayers and declarations towards this goal, all done in great humility, while at the same time honoring our brothers, the men whom God has set in leadership here. We sensed the importance of each needing the other in order to accomplish God’s purposes in the land. We left feeling greatly encouraged and empowered.  I am so thankful to have had the privilege of being a part of this!

Testimony from Margaret AbuGhazaleh – An Arab Spiritual Mother

My experience at Deborah’s Clan was wonderful. The flow of the Spirit which brought such unity among us as with all our different backgrounds, was amazing. There was so much love and acceptance, even among those who had never met before. But I feel like one of  the main things God accomplished was the raising of awareness of the mothers that He has been preparing from both sides, so that we can walk together and mother this land together. We became very aware that none of us can fully mother without the others and that we need to carry this mantle together. It was so clear that God does not want us to do this alone, each one in her own sphere, but to carry the land together for the completion of the birthing of His purposes.

In the short time we had together we saw the Lord tear down the remaining wall of separation between us, so we can walk together in full freedom, carrying each other in our hearts.

Deborah’s Clan | Women’s Gathering | April 11-12

“Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, until I, Deborah, arose, arose a mother in Israel.”

Judges 5:7

The vision for Deborah’s Clan is a dream that has been in my heart for many years.  I desire to see Jewish and Arab spiritual mothers come together in unity to form a strong core that will cause a breakthrough in our nation. I have been waiting for the Lord’s timing to develop this gathering of women.

From April 11-12, we will have our first Deborah’s Clan gathering of spiritual mothers. We felt the Lord leading us to extend an invitation to 37 Jewish spiritual mothers and 32 Arab spiritual mothers.  My friend Chaya Mizrachi, one of the key spiritual Jewish mothers in the nation, is partnering with me in leading this event. When I shared the vision for Deborah’s Clan, she felt a witness in her heart to partner with us. HOPE is inviting the Arab spiritual mothers, and Dugit (directed by Avi & Chaya Mizrachi) are inviting the Jewish spiritual mothers.

We feel this will be a strategic gathering of spiritual mothers, both Jew and Arab, to arise and take their position in the land to birth His purposes. Ultimately, we believe this will lead to the regathering of the children back to the Father.

Deborah’s Clan is going to be a special time of connecting, getting to know one another, praying and worshiping together, and following the leading of the Lord for what He wants us to birth in this season.  In addition to the spiritual mothers from the land, we will have a core team of spiritual mothers from the nations who will join us as midwives to help us push through what God is birthing among us.

Arab Deborahs Arising Conference and Deborah’s Clan Gathering 2017

Village life ceased, it ceased in Israel, Until I, Deborah, arose, Arose a mother in Israel.

Judges 5:7

“When the mothers arise in the land, there is safety within it’s border,” Rania Sayegh

The Lord has been speaking to us prophetically and directing our hearts to the desire of His heart and will, for what He wants to do in this upcoming strategic gathering prior to Rosh Hashana – Feast of Trumpets.

We are anticipating a gathering of a powerful company of women that will hear the trumpet call and come to the land for a strategic time of prayer, seeking God’s heart, worship, and fellowship to release what’s on His heart for His land and people!

We are praying and believing the Lord to use this appointed time, which falls in alignment during the month of September, (two weeks prior to the beginning of the new strategic Hebraic year 2018 -Feast of Trumpets). We feel this will release a corporate trumpet call for the mothers, as Deborah, to arise in the land and begin to position themselves in the army, His family — to partner with Him to release the spirit of adoption through the revelation of the mother’s and father’s heart of God. It’s time for corporate heart cry from the generations in His land, “Abba Father!”

The Lord spoke to us that this next gathering in September is strategic, as it is the fifth strike in the ground (our fifth conference) for a time of healing and establishing our spiritual boundaries victoriously. The Lord has given us the privilege to partner with Him, to see this movement among Arab women in the land of Israel birthed in September 2015. We are witnessing His glory being revealed in new way like never before; new wine skins being prepared for His new wine to be poured out, joy in the unity among women, an army of women emerging to advance the Kingdom, and freedom to be released to their destiny.

One of the key verses the Lord spoke to us for this upcoming conference is:

“Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought f-forth her children.” Isaiah 66:8

Briskilla Zananiri sharing her experience in Arab Women Conference “For Such A Time as This” :

“Being a part of the February Esther Conference was a joy. I’m using the descriptive word “joy” because JOY was such a part of all that took place. One could feel the pleasure of God for what was taking place. His heart expression towards us was a memory worthy to be remembered. We were taught about His Glory by Barbara Yoder, and were captured by His presence when He came. We were given a prophetic understanding, by Rania Sayegh, of some of the personal developments God desired to equip us with in 2017.

We celebrated through worship as Sarah Lieberman, Jesra, and Rachel Boskey (with the band) led the way. For me teaching about the power of words was an ongoing experience, as this conference was a place where Jesus chose to meet me personally each day. My memories will be locked into the beauty of His presence and the delight of His heart regarding these beautiful women who so happened to be of Arab and Jewish descent. Incredible days in His presence.

The gathering of Arab and Jewish young people was an event remembered by the honest conversation Barbara Yoder had with them, the beautiful time of worship by Magd, and the wonderful time of personal ministry given to each young person in attendance. Wow, it is so true that God has set in place ministering spirits who are sent to strengthen, heal, and equip His saints. To witness the development of God’s generation is such a joyful blessing!!!”
